Sweet Dough Base Tryouts

I've bought a doughnut mold from a local Japanese bookstore for my boy to add to his playdoh collection, and out for fun I'm giving it a try myself for my artwork. Personally I have nothing against using 'mold' in artworks, it just depends on the type of project that I'm working on.

Doughnut base done. I would probably modify them next time for different effects...

Magic moments... A little dap of colors here and there makes my doughnut looks real and yummy ! I've got a bit overwhelming and should go easy on the colors, haha... Can't help it. I usually like my food a bit 'burnt' for the extra fragrance and crunch ^^

Add Sweetness for Goodness (Part 2)

The fun part which I have been longing for... assembly time ! ^^

There goes the magnet and cream in paper cups followed by ice-cream scoops, waffles, and fruit toppings. It took me 4 hours to assemble 100 pieces, plus some 'thinking time' to get it right.
I was kind of sad that I can't fit the purple berries into my combo as there are no space left ! Lol...

The best part of assembly would be ... ... Syrup time !
Imagine having a generous serving of heavy strawberry syrup drizzle over the scoop of ice-cream... simply yummy *u*

It's all done, waiting for the pieces to dry thoroughly.

Add Sweetness for Goodness (Part 1)

The church in my hometown is raising funds for the building of a chapel, so the idea of sweets deco just pops right in and I have decided to make Ice-cream Magnet for the bazaar sale ^^

After few nights of overtime, the fruit toppings are finally ready !

Kiwi and banana slices, berries of red and deep purple.
I wasn't too pleased with the kiwi but with limited time available, that will do.

Waffles and the ice-cream scoops !
I chosed white and salmon pink color for the ice-cream as the colors goes very well with the fruit toppings I have prepared. I will try other combination soon ^^
